Business Development Manager
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition of new projects and project bids. The BDM will support management by providing regular reports evaluating new business opportunities. The reports will focus on pricing strategies, market surveys and development of new value added services, unified licensing decisions in the telecom market, collaborative joint ventures, mergers and venture capital acquisitions.
Requirements
- BA in a business-related field (3 years post qualification experience highly preferable)
- The ability to build relationships and influence purchase decisions through networking
- A good command of English language- both written and spoken
- Team Player
Responsibilities
- Manage the proposal development process and maintain timelines for the drafting of proposals based on team meetings and discussions tailor made to client needs.
- Support marketing activities including trade shows, presentations, billboards, company website
- Maintain the Business Development database to proactively offer input (based on market studies) to develop and improve products and services
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities by adhering to business ethics code
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
